Rolling Admissions Now Open!
Our regular admission deadlines have passed, but it’s not too late to join the MIS community. We are now offering rolling admissions with limited availability. Submit your application as soon as possible to secure your spot. With rolling admissions, applications are reviewed as they are received. -
The Admissions Committee reviews applications and contacts qualifying prospective students to schedule a student interview and assessments. Kindergarten applicants may partake in a small group activity as their interview.

Applicants will receive electronic notification of admission status within one week of meeting all applicant criterias, which includes their application required supplemental materials, interview, and gifted eligibility.

Secure your spot at MIS with payment of the matriculation fee. Waitlisted students will be contacted as soon as space becomes available. During rolling admissions, accepted applicants enroll or decline within one week of receipt of the offer.
A Completed Application Includes:
Student Portfolio: Submit 3-5 examples of student work (in any subject area) that demonstrate the applicant’s creativity, skills, and enthusiasm for learning. We request that at least one of these items is a writing sample.
Teacher Recommendation Form (sent via application portal).
Student Records: For students entering grades 1-12, please request that your child’s school submit current student transcripts, as well as any other evaluations and standardized test scores directly to MIS. Student Records Request Form
Evidence of eligibility for gifted programs, or WISC-IV results. Other cognitive abilities tests are acceptable if completed in the last 12 months.
Non-refundable application fee of $100.
Waitlists
MIS maintains a waitlist for each school year, and follows a rolling admissions process for new student openings.
